That's why BORRO is designed around getting cups back into circulation, not simply handing out more reusable products.
Under FSG's current lifecycle assessment with Nottingham Trent University, the reusable cup reached its approximate environmental break-even point against the modelled single-use alternative after around three uses, under the assumptions of that study.
